Wise Guys- No Hair Left Behind

I feel like I’m constantly saying Missy 202 is more than a brand, it’s a lifestlye. It’s true though! I am big on giving back. I recently did an event with DCF where some of my ambassadors & I worked as a mini glam team to give youth in need a beautiful prom event (I’ll get into that in another post).

Wise Guys Scissor Society was started by Miguel Devalle in Hartford, Ct. His shop is located at 87 Main Street Downtown Hartford. I started working at his barbershop a few months ago. I walked in looking to rent a chair. I wanted to see what the vibes were like before I really started anything (y’all know I’m big on energy!) & before I could say much he gave me the best energy! Immediately started trying to figure out who I was, what my brand is about, & how he could help. Now, I’m apart of the team! He does a lot for the community. He’s put together multiple events, works at the homeless shelter, gives free cuts, etc etc. He’s a huge supporter of his community.

No Hair Left Behind is an event he has set up for June 11th. The barbers & braiders of Wise Guys will all be there giving back. Our health is important! We have partnered with Hartford Hospital to provide free grooming & medical screenings. Food & baked goods will be provided. Shoes will be given away, legal aid & mental health services are available. Showers are available to the community. We have so much more in store for you all so come out & support! It will be held at 277 Main Street in Hartford, Ct from 9am-3pm. Donations are appreciated, we’ve got a lot of folks in Hartford.
